Recently, the 2025 World’s Top Ten Powertrain Systems Evaluation Vehicle Testing and Review Meeting, hosted by the Automotive Evaluation Research Institute, was held in Beijing. FAW Jiefang’s 10-speed transmission (CA10TAX130S) won the ninth “World’s Top Ten Transmissions” award for its outstanding performance.
This event brought together top global powertrain technologies, with the judging panel composed of authoritative experts from Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Institute of Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other universities and research institutions.
After rigorous vehicle testing and multi-dimensional evaluation, FAW Jiefang’s 10-speed transmission performed exceptionally well in both objective indicators and subjective evaluations, ultimately standing out and demonstrating leading technological strength and reliable product quality.
This transmission boasts strong load-bearing capacity and efficient transmission, with a maximum input torque of 1300 N·m and a maximum input speed of 2500 rpm, featuring a layout of 10 forward gears and 2 reverse gears.
In terms of power matching, the transmission can work efficiently with the CA6DK2 engine, with a maximum torque of 1300 N·m/rpm, a power of 262 kW, and a comprehensive transmission efficiency of 97.3%, providing strong and smooth power output for medium-duty trucks, which is highly trusted by the market and users.
