The chassis axle also comes standard with an extended oil change interval of 100,000km, reducing repair and maintenance costs.

Configuration
The Jiefang JK6 is equipped with an inline six-cylinder diesel engine, which can be equipped with Yuchai CA6DLD-26E68, Dachai CA4DK2-26E65, Xichai, Foton Cummins, Weichai CA4DK2-24E65 WP4.6NQ240E62, and CA6DLD-29E68. Its maximum displacement is 6.6 liters, the maximum output power is 213 kW (290 hp), and the peak torque is 1100 Nm at 1200-1700 rpm.
The transmission is a FAW Jiefang CA8TAX110FS1 8-speed manual gearbox, and the rear axle uses a 12-ton rear axle with a speed ratio of 4.111. Alternatively, the vehicle can be equipped with a Fast 8-speed gearbox and a 4.875 rear axle, allowing users to choose the right configuration based on their driving conditions and preferences.
The JK6’s chassis features a 378 cast rear axle with a 4.111 ratio. The suspension is a 7-axle front and 7+3-axle rear leaf spring system, sufficient for daily fully loaded transport.
In terms of size, the JK6 has a vehicle size of 9000×2550×3995mm and a wheelbase of 5300mm.
FAW JK6 Cab Configuration
The JK6 features a high-roof cab with a height of 2050mm and a width of 2320mm, providing ample space for drivers to maneuver. For transporting department stores and other transportation needs, this spacious cabin provides drivers with a more comfortable resting environment, a trend seen in high-end 6.8-meter trucks.
The vehicle’s center console features a semi-wrapped design, with the right side tilted toward the driver. Commonly used function buttons are located closer to the driver. The center area of the vehicle in the photos is a storage compartment, but an optional LCD central control screen is available, supporting Bluetooth music, rearview camera, and video playback.
The vehicle’s seats are airbag-cushioned, multi-angle adjustable, and feature ventilation, heating, and lumbar support, helping to reduce fatigue during daily driving. Combined with the cab’s four-point suspension design, this provides a superior ride experience for drivers and passengers. Behind the driver’s seat are two high and low berths, with the lower berth exceeding 600mm in width, making it exceptionally wide for a 6.8-meter truck.
The car’s steering wheel features a four-spoke multifunctional design, with left and right multi-function buttons for controlling phone calls, multimedia, and other functions. The cruise control function is integrated into the left stalk. The rear instrument panel features a full LCD instrument panel design, which not only looks more attractive but also displays information clearly. The center console is designed to be oriented towards the driver and is equipped with a large LCD screen, providing a variety of functions such as reversing images, mobile phone connectivity, navigation, and entertainment.
