The FAW J5M 4×2 is equipped with a high-strength steel cargo box, with mainstream dimensions of 5.7–6.8m in length and 2.3–2.45m in width. It supports stake, van, and flatbed body types, built with thickened steel plates for strong load-bearing and anti-deformation performance. The optimized layout ensures a large loading space, ideal for medium-load logistics, general cargo, and urban distribution.
2. Power Configuration
It is powered by FAWDE or Weichai series diesel engines, providing 220–260 horsepower and a maximum torque of 800–950 N·m. Matched with a FAST 8–9-speed manual transmission, it adopts turbocharging and intercooling technology, offering strong low-speed torque, smooth shifting, and excellent fuel economy.
