1. Cargo Box
The FAW J5P 8×4 Cargo Truck is equipped with a high-strength heavy-duty cargo box, available in stake, van, and general cargo versions. Made of thickened high-tensile steel with a reinforced subframe, it has excellent rigidity and load-bearing capacity, with optional lengths ranging from 7.2m to 9.5m and a width of 2.3m, perfectly suitable for long-haul bulk cargo, green produce, CE, and heavy-load logistics transportation.
2. Power Configuration
Powered by optional Weichai, Yuch, ai, or FAWDE Euro II/Euro III diesel engines, with a power range of 290–380 HP and maximum torque up to 1500 N·m. It is matched with a durable 9/12-speed manual transmission (such as Fast 12JS160T or RT-11509C), ensuring smooth shifting, strong climbing power,r and reliable performance for heavy-load long-haul operations.
3. Chassis Configuration
Adopting an 8×4 drive layout, it is equipped with a reinforced ladder-type frame (320×90×8mm) with strong bending and torsion resistance. It features 6.5T–7T double front axles and 13T–16T double rear axles, paired with multi-leaf spring suspension. Standard with a full air brake system and optional ABS, it ensures stable braking and excellent maneuverability for various complex road conditions.
