FAW J6P 6×4 Garbage Truck Introduction

1. Cargo Box

The garbage compactor box is manufactured with thickened anti-corrosion stainless steel, featuring a fully sealed structure to prevent sewage leakage, odor overflow, and secondary pollution. It is equipped with a high-pressure hydraulic compressing mechanism and rear loading hopper, which automatically completes feeding, squeezing,g and discharging processes. The integrated sewage collection tank and quick cleaning interface simplify daily maintenance. Reinforced box frame and anti-wear lining extend service life, and multiple optional capacities are available to meet municipal sanitation transfer demands.

2. Power Configuration

It adopts an FAW Xichai CA6DM2 diesel engine with 350–460hp, generating abundant low-speed torque to support frequent start-stop and continuous hydraulic compression work. Matched with a 12-speed all-aluminum manual transmission and a dedicated hydraulic PTO, it delivers stable power for garbage compaction. Optimized combustion system and SCR aftertreatment cut fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, with long maintenance intervals to lower long-term operation cost for sanitation fleets.

3. Chassis Configuration

Built on a special FAW J6P 6×4 sanitation chassis with a maximum GVW of 25 tons. The double-layer high-tensile frame features excellent torsion resistance to bear repeated compression loads. Equipped with a Φ457 heavy-duty rear axle, WABCO dual-circuit air brakes and standard ABS, paired with 12R22.5 heavy-duty tires. V-type reaction rod suspension effectively suppresses body tilt during compression and unloading, adapting to urban narrow roads and suburban waste disposal sites.

4. Cab

Four-point full-float high-roof J6P cab reaches European ECE R29 collision safety standard. Air-suspension driver seat with lumbar buffer relieves fatigue from frequent urban driving. Interior includes a constant-temperature automatic air conditioner, a multifunctional steering wheel, electric heated rearview mirrors, and a 360° panoramic monitoring camera. Noise and heat insulation materials isolate hydraulic equipment noise, while the fatigue reminder system improves safety for all-day sanitation operation.
