FAW JK6 6×4 CRANE TRUCK
The FAW JK6 6×4 Crane Truck is designed for medium-heavy lifting and cargo transportation.
It features a reinforced manganese steel cargo bed and a multi-section hydraulic crane with wide-span extendable outriggers and full overload protection for stable operation on rough construction sites.
Equipped with a high-torque diesel engine matched with a 10-speed transmission and dedicated PTO, it delivers sufficient power reserve and economical fuel consumption.
The robust 6×4 chassis with air brakes and ABS provides outstanding load-bearing stability. Its wide full-float suspended cab effectively relieves driver fatigue during long shifts.
FAW JK6 6×4 CRANE TRUCK Introduction
1. Cargo Box & Crane
The cargo platform adopts thickened high-strength manganese steel with dense reinforced crossbeams, effectively resisting deformation under heavy cargo and crane lifting loads. It can be equipped with a 12–16–ton multi-section telescopic hydraulic crane, fitted with high-precision hydraulic components for smooth boom extension and retraction. Four fully telescopic outriggers expand a wide supporting area, paired with overload protection and emergency stop valves to eliminate tipping risks on uneven construction ground, fully complying with engineering lifting safety specifications.
2. Power Configuration
It adopts a FAW six-cylinder diesel engine with 290–350hp output, releasing strong low-speed torque to cope with heavy-load climbing and continuous crane hydraulic drive. Matched with a 10/12-speed aluminum shell manual transmission with an exclusive PTO interface, power output to the crane system is stable and responsive. Optimized fuel injection and a mature post-processing system lower comprehensive fuel consumption, and long maintenance intervals cut the daily operating cost for logistics and construction fleets.
3. Chassis Configuration
Built on FAW’s original JK6 6×4 special crane chassis with a maximum GVW of 25 tons. The double-layer high-tensile frame enhances torsional rigidity to avoid frame distortion during lifting operations. It is equipped with a heavy-duty cast rear axle, WABCO dual-circuit air brake syste,m ana d standard ABS anti-lock device, matched with 11R22.5 heavy-load tires. Balanced multi-leaf spring suspension suppresses body roll, adapting to long-distance highway transport and suburban engineering site travel.
4. Cab
Equipped with a four-point full-float wide-body JK6 cab with excellent sound insulation and heat insulation performance. The air-suspension driver seat with adjustable lumbar support greatly alleviates fatigue of long-distance cross-region operation. The interior is equipped with a constant-temperature automatic air conditioner, multifunctional steering wheel, electric heated rearview mirror,s ana d reversing monitoring screen. The large front windshield brings panoramic vision, and the built-in driving fatigue reminder system further improves driving safety.
