1. Cargo Box Configuration

This dump truck offers multiple cargo box options, including U-shaped and standard designs. The standard type can be customized with reinforced structures and different heights.

The box is made of high-strength wear-resistant steel, featuring lower weight and stronger load capacity—able to carry 30% more than ordinary trucks.

The frame is reinforced to prevent bulging, deformation, weld cracking, or arching. The skeleton design connects the front, rear, and side bottom frames into one unit, giving the box excellent resistance to impact and torsion. The newly designed sub-frame and steel main beams ensure strong load-bearing capacity, better frame integration, and a lower center of gravity for safer and more stable driving.

The structure is well-optimized with fewer welds, reducing maintenance needs.

2. Power System

This truck delivers strong power and higher efficiency. The new FAW J6L dump truck provides robust starting performance, powerful acceleration, and smooth handling in extreme road conditions.

It can be equipped with a Xichai engine delivering up to 420Ps of power and 2120 N·m of torque. The engine’s improved transient torque response ensures better performance for climbing and sudden gear changes, making it ideal for dump truck operations. Its high-efficiency SCR with active regeneration ensures reliable operation under complex working conditions.

The engine adopts a modular design, low-tension piston rings, forged steel crankshaft, and other high-reliability components. With wear-resistant coating on piston pins and bearings, engine oil changes are required only once every 50,000 km.

It is paired with FAW’s CA10TA160F semi-aluminum gearbox, designed specifically for dump trucks, with a maximum input torque of 1600 N·m. Whether in heavy-load starts or off-road recovery, it provides excellent performance.

3. Chassis System

The vehicle is equipped with a Ф300 cast steel hub-reduction axle with a speed ratio of 5.921, ensuring both strength and durability.

The wheelbase between the steering axle and the drive axle is only 2250mm. The steering angle of the front axle has been increased from 45° to 47°, reducing the turning radius by 1.2 meters, making it easier to maneuver in narrow work sites.

It comes with 315/80R22.5 tires.

4. Driving Configuration

The cab uses 26% high-strength steel combined with optimized structural design, fully compliant with European ECER29 crash regulations.

The braking system features ultra-high-strength vermicular cast iron brake drums, with excellent wear resistance. An innovative electromagnetic brake relay valve has been applied, improving brake response by 50% and shortening braking distance by 20%.

Since stability during lifting is crucial for dump trucks, this model has been optimized with wider frame, wider spring spacing, and wider front wheel track, greatly enhancing both driving safety and lifting stability.
